No cookies, no tracking

This website does not set cookies. It does not use your browser's local storage or session storage, and it does not run analytics or advertising tags. For that reason there is no cookie banner and nothing for you to switch on or off here.

  • No analytics service, such as a visitor counter, a session recorder or a heat map, is loaded.
  • No advertising or remarketing tag is loaded, and nothing on the site is used to follow you from one website to another.
  • No social-media button, embedded map, video player or web font is fetched from another company's server. The styling script, pictures and pages are all served from this site.

If you arrived from an advertisement or a search result, nothing on this site reads or stores a record of that. What the search engine or advertising platform recorded before you arrived is governed by that company's own policies, not by this page.

Ordinary caching and server logs

Your browser may keep copies of pages and pictures so they load faster next time. That is a normal browser function, not a tracking tool, and you can clear it in your browser's settings whenever you like.

The company that hosts the site will normally keep a short server log of requests, with the time, the page requested, your IP address and your browser type, for security and troubleshooting. The Privacy Policy describes how that and other information is handled.

What happens to what you type

The enquiry form on the contact page is an ordinary HTML form. Nothing you type is saved in your browser before you send it, and no cookie is used to remember you afterwards. If you prefer not to use the form, you can write to the email address or call the number on the contact page.

Ref. CKE-05 / The menu and the page script

What runs on the page

Each page loads one styling script that is stored on this site itself (common/assets/js/tailwind.js), and one small inline script that shows and hides the navigation list on a phone. Neither contacts another server, and neither records who you are or what you do.

Because nothing is loaded from other companies' servers, no other company learns from this site that you visited, which is also why no consent banner is shown.

Ref. CKE-06 / Japanese law

Why no consent is asked for

Under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information, information sent to another company's server, for example through an advertising or analytics cookie, may need the visitor's agreement when that company can tie it to a person. Because this site sends no browsing information to any other company, that question does not arise. The only personal information the operator receives is what you choose to send yourself, which the Privacy Policy covers.

Checking it yourself

You do not have to take this page's word for it. Most browsers show, under developer tools or in the site-information panel next to the address bar, which cookies a site has stored and which servers a page has contacted. On this site the cookie list should be empty and every request should go to pikegazebo.com. If your browser or an extension reports something different, please tell the operator through the contact page.

Ref. CKE-08 / If this changes

Before anything is added

If the operator later adds an analytics tool, an advertising tag, an embedded map or anything else that uses cookies or similar storage, this page and the Privacy Policy will be updated first, and a way to accept or refuse will be provided before the tool is switched on.

Asking about this page

If you believe the site is doing something this page does not describe, please tell the operator through the contact page so that it can be checked and corrected.
